Colin Taylor AKA The Unsinkable Boxer

Colin Taylor, AKA The Unsinkable Boxer hails from the creative musical cradle that is Glasgow, Scotland and delivers the sweetest punch to the heart.

Whilst relatively new on the scene, this debut under his latest guise, belies his hitherto ‘hidden under the bushel’ anonymity. His previous work has been hailed by such luminaries as BBC Radio 2’s Johnnie Walker and Bob Harris.

Taylor owns 'The Cooler Studios' and is constantly writing and recording with a small band of musician friends who have played with the likes of Travis, Joe Cocker, Robbie Williams and Paolo Nutini.

The record was co-produced by Geoff Martyn who assisted with additional piano, keyboards and backing vocals. Paul Galvin (bass), Seamus Simon (drums), Oreste Gargaro (additional guitars), Melvin Duffy (pedal/lap steel) and Lynnie Carson (backing vocals) all added their talent to the mix. Matt Dunkley (Moulin Rouge, Pirates of the Carribean, U2, Elliot Smith) arranged strings on a few of the tracks.

Mixing Duties were handled by Seattle based Don Gunn and Ed Brooks of RFI Seattle mastered the album.
